After moving to Hobart in 2017 from America (I accidentally fell in love with an Aussie, it’s basically a real-life rom-com) I started bartending; I couldn’t help but get creative with the wonderful produce and products that this state has to offer. My biggest goal is making sure that the drinks I create give off a real sense of place - bringing you closer to the ingredients in it and the people you’re enjoying it with.

I’ve been competing in cocktail competitions on a national level since 2021, and have been able to push myself to grow in ways I could never have imagined. I’m so excited to share my ideas with you, and help create experiences that you’ll think about for years to come!

Co-founder of Shake It Tas, Laura is at most of our events - you’ll see her everywhere! We met in 2018, working together at a restaurant and have been besties ever since. Laura’s favourite things include the colour pink, her dog Evie, and bringing the best vibes to your event while making sure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes!
